Marilyn And Me
''Marilyn and Me'' is a 1991 American television film. It premiered on the History Channel in India on May 12, 2006, in Double 'F'. The film portrays the life of Robert Slatzer, an American writer who claimed to have married Marilyn Monroe in Mexico on 4 October 1952 (although there is no proof that this happened) and said that he met her when she was just beginning acting. Their secret affair shatters and rebuilds several times, as Marilyn is torn apart between her career and her lover. John Patterson (director)
John Tiffin Patterson (April 4, 1940 – February 7, 2005) was a television director known for his work on drama series, who also made television films. He directed thirteen episodes of ''The Sopranos'', including the first five season finales. Patterson was born in Buffalo, New York. Biography Aged 19, Patterson joined the United States Air Force where he navigated B-52 bombers for the Strategic Air Command. He resumed his college studies while a reservist and graduated from the University at Buffalo. He earned a master's degree at Stanford University in 1970, where he was a classmate of ''The Sopranos'' creator David Chase. He was nominated for the Emmy award in 2002 and 2003 for his work on ''The Sopranos'' and won The Directors Guild of America award for the show in 2002. Joel Grey (born Joel David Katz; April 11, 1932) is an American actor, singer, dancer, photographer and theatre director. He is best known for portraying the Master of Ceremonies in the musical ''Cabaret'' on Broadway as well as in the 1972 film adaptation. Tom Kelley Sr. (December 12, 1914 – January 8, 1984) was an American photographer who photographed Hollywood celebrities in the 1940s and 1950s. He is best known for his iconic 1949 nude photographs of Marilyn Monroe, which were distributed widely as calendar art—one of which was featured in the inaugural issue of ''Playboy'' magazine in 1953.
