Marilena Chaui
Marilena de Souza Chaui (born September 4, 1941) is a Brazilian philosopher and Professor of Modern Philosophy in the University of São Paulo. She is a scholar of Baruch Spinoza and Maurice Merleau-Ponty. Chaui is one of the founding members of Workers' Party and an assiduous critic of the capitalist model. Life Chaui is a Professor of Political Philosophy and History of Modern Philosophy in the University of São Paulo, having been awarded a master's degree in 1967, and received her doctorate in 1971 with the essay "Introduction to Reading Spinoza", under the guidance of Professor Gilda de Mello e Souza Rocha. Pindorama
Pindorama () is a municipality in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The name is Tupi for ''Land of the Palms'', the natives name for Brazil. According to tradition, before colonisation "Pindorama" (Tupi for "Land of the Palms") was the native name of Brazil, given by the local indigenous peoples. Location The population is 17,216 (2020 est.) in an area of 184.8 km². The municipality contains the Pindorama Biological Reserve, a strictly protected conservation unit created in 1986 from a former experimental agricultural station. Luiza Erundina
Luiza Erundina de Sousa (; November 30, 1934) is a Brazilian politician, born in Uiraúna, a small city in the interior of the Brazilian state of Paraíba. Political history From 1980 to 1997 she was affiliated with the PT party (Workers’ Party). In 1997 she changed to the PSB party. Due to disagreements within PSB that decided to support the impeachment process against president Dilma Rousseff, Erundina switched to party PSOL in March 2016. Erundina served on the São Paulo city council from 1983–1987. From 1987–1988 she was a state deputy for the state of São Paulo. She was São Paulo's mayor from 1989 to 1992, and is currently a federal deputy from São Paulo. She was re-elected in 2002 and again in 2006, in 2010, in 2014 and in 2018. The State University of Campinas ( pt, Universidade Estadual de Campinas), commonly called Unicamp, is a public research university in the state of São Paulo, Brazil.
