Marika Domińczyk ( ) (born 1980) is a Polish-American actress who became best known in the United States for her role as Dr. Eliza Minnick on ''Grey's Anatomy (season 13), Grey's Anatomy,'' which she originated in its 13th season. Personal life Marika Domińczyk is one of three daughters born to Aleksandra and Miroslaw "Mirek" Domińczyk. She immigrated to the United States as a child. Her father was one of the leaders in the Solidarity (Polish trade union), Polish Solidarity movement. She is the younger sister of actress Dagmara Dominczyk whose husband is actor Patrick Wilson (American actor), Patrick Wilson. Domińczyk became engaged to actor Scott Foley in 2006.
