Marijke Synhaeve
Marijke Synhaeve (; born 5 November 1989) is a Belgian-Dutch politician of the Democrats 66 (D66), who served as a temporary member of the House of Representatives from 12 December 2023 and 28 March 2024. She replaced Hanneke van der Werf during her maternity leave. The House of Representatives (, pronounced ; commonly referred to as the ', literally "Second Chamber of the States General") is the lower house of the bicameral parliament of the Netherlands, the States General, the other one being the Senate. It has 150 seats, which are filled through elections using party-list proportional representation. Generally, the house is located in the Binnenhof in The Hague, however, it has temporarily moved to the former building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Bezuidenhoutseweg 67 in the Hague while the Binnenhof is being renovated. Johanna Jantina "Hanneke" van der Werf (; born 29 November 1984) is a Dutch politician of the Democrats 66 (D66). She has been a member of the House of Representatives since the 2021 general election. She previously held a seat in the municipal council of The Hague (2014–2021) and worked for the D66 caucus in the House of Representatives (2010–2018). Early life and career Van der Werf was born in Hengelo, Overijssel. She lived in nearby Haaksbergen until she was two years old, when her family moved to the village of Rekken.
