Marije van Hunenstijn (; born 2 March 1995) is a Dutch sprinter. She won a silver medal in the 4 × 100 metres relay at the 2018 European Championships. In her youth she trained for gymnastics before turning to athletics at the age of 13. Apeldoorn (; Dutch Low Saxon: ) is a municipality and city in the province of Gelderland in the centre of the Netherlands. Athletics at the 2020 Summer Olympics were held during the last ten days of the Games. They were due to be held from 31 July – 9 August 2020, at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo, Japan. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the games were postponed to 2021, with the track and field events set for 30 July – 8 August. The sport of athletics at these Games was split into three distinct sets of events: track and field events, remaining in Tokyo, and road running events and racewalking events, moved to Sapporo. A total of 48 events were held, one more than in 2016, with the addition of a mixed relay event. The 2021 World Athletics Relays have been held in Chorzów, Poland from 1 to 2 May 2021. Schedule The program has undergone some changes, due to the lack of participants some preliminary rounds have in fact been canceled. Winners summary There are no medalists but winners in each event. The women's 4 × 100 metres relay at the 2019 World Athletics Championships was held at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, Qatar, from 4 to 5 October 2019. Summary Already the world leader from their qualifying heat, Jamaica added a fresh Shericka Jackson to anchor. The British team brought in their star Dina Asher-Smith to run the second leg (completing an Asha, Asher-Smith, Ashleigh alliterative combination). Uncharacteristically, USA ran the same four runners. On the first leg of the final, Natalliah Whyte got Jamaica into the lead passing to their star Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce first. Against Asher-Smith, two lanes to her outside and USA's Teahna Daniels three lanes out, Fraser-Pryce appeared to gain slightly against the stagger. The women's 100 metres at the 2019 World Athletics Championships was held at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, Qatar, on 28 to 29 September 2019. Summary This was the first major championships for Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce after giving birth and the maternity leave in 2017. Here, against the Olympic Champion Elaine Thompson and the defending champion Tori Bowie, Fraser-Pryce dominated the heats and the semi-finals. In the final, she took the lead on the first step and pulled away to a dominating victory in a world-leading time of 10.71. While Marie-Josée Ta Lou was the next fastest out of the blocks, Dina Asher-Smith closed quickly to overtake Ta Lou for a clear silver medal, leaving the defending silver medalist with the bronze.
