Marieta Severo
Marieta Severo da Costa (born 2 November 1946) is a Brazilian stage, film and television actress. She is best known to youth audiences as the archetypal mother figure in popular sitcom ''A Grande Família'' (2001–2014), as well to mature audiences for portraying villains in telenovelas like ''Vereda Tropical'', ''Pátria Minha'', ''Laços de Família'', among others. Early life Severo was born on November 2, 1946 in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro to Luís Antonio Severo da Costa (a Brazilian army officer) and Lígia Paixão. She studied in Tablado Theater in 1965, and later that year, premiered on her first play ''Feitiço de Salém''. Career Severo starred in her first ''telenovela'' in 1966. It was the Rede Globo production of ''O Sheik de Agadir'' (''The Sheik of Agadir'') in which she played the supporting character of Madelon. Theatro Municipal (Rio De Janeiro)
The Theatro Municipal ("Municipal Theater") is an opera house in the Centro district of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Built in the early twentieth century, it is considered to be one of the most beautiful and important theaters in the country. The building is designed in an eclectic style, inspired by the Paris Opéra of Charles Garnier. The outside walls are inscribed with the names of classic European and Brazilian artists. Marco Nanini
Marco Antônio Barroso Nanini (born 31 May 1948) is a Brazilian actor. Most of his activities have been in comedy. Nanini achieved national sensation through his participation in the theatre piece ''"O Mistério de Irma Vap"'', together with fellow actor and friend Ney Latorraca. It was one of the biggest box office successes in Brazil, staying for 11 consecutive years with the same casting (a Guinness World Record). It was also filmed under the direction of Carla Camurati, premiering in 2006. ''Verdades Secretas'' (English: ''Hidden Truths'') is a Brazilian telenovela created by Walcyr Carrasco and directed by Mauro Mendonça Filho and Amora Mautner. Produced and broadcast by TV Globo, it premiered on 8 June 2015. The telenovela was the first original production in the 11 pm timeslot, having all its four predecessors being primarily remakes. Francisco Buarque de Hollanda (born 19 June 1944), popularly known simply as Chico Buarque, is a Brazilian singer-songwriter, guitarist, composer, playwright, writer, and poet. He is best known for his music, which often includes social, economic, and cultural reflections on Brazil.
