Marie Henriksen (ice Hockey)
Marie Henriksen (born 31 August 1993) is a former Norwegian handball player for the club Byåsen HE. She also represented Norway in the 2011 Women's Junior European Handball Championship, placing 12th. She was near a position on the Norwegian national team many times, but has been very unlucky with serious injuries in her young career. Spring 2016 she suffered her third serious injury in her right knee and in March 2017 she announced that she was forced to retire because of her injuries, at age 23. She is the younger sister of international footballer Markus Henriksen and daughter of Trond Henriksen. Trondheim
Trondheim ( , , ; sma, Tråante), historically Kaupangen, Nidaros and Trondhjem (), is a city and municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. Trond Henriksen
Trond Børge Henriksen (born 28 April 1964, in Trondheim) is a Norwegian football coach and former player. He is the father of Rosenborg BK midfielder Markus Henriksen. Biography Trond Henriksen played in Rosenborg from 1983 to 1993 as a wingback, achieving five Norwegian Premier League championships and three Norwegian Football Cup wins. His uncompromising playing style made him a hero amongst the fans, and he was nicknamed ''Rambo'' after the movie character. He still holds the record of 29 yellow cards in Rosenborg. He worked as a postman until he became full-time coach for Rosenborg's youth team. When Knut Tørum became Rosenborg's head coach in 2006, Henriksen was promoted to assistant coach. After Knut Tørum resigned on 25 October 2007, Henriksen was promoted to head coach. He later went back to in his former position as assistant coach under head coach Jan Jönsson. Markus Henriksen (born 25 July 1992) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Eliteserien club Rosenborg. Club career Rosenborg Henriksen moved from Trond IL to Rosenborg as a boy. He proved himself early on as an exciting midfielder, showing traits of footballing intelligence, basic skill and excellent endurance. 2009 Henriksen made his Rosenborg debut in a cup game against Gjøvik-Lyn on 10 May 2009, coming on for Alexander Tettey in the 86th minute. The European Handball Federation (EHF) is the umbrella organisation for European handball. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations (England and Scotland), and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. 2011 Women's Under-19 European Handball Championship
The 2011 Women's U-19's European Handball Championship is the eighth edition of the continental handball event for this age group, and the fourth under its new name, that is being held between 4 and 14 August in the Netherlands.
