Marie-Anne Cohendet
Marie-Anne Cohendet is a French people, French political scientist and expert in constitutional law. She is a professor in the faculty of public law at the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne. Cohendet studies the constitutional and institutional structure of French politics, and she has also written on potential democratic reforms to the French political system. Education and professional positions Cohendet graduated in 1991 from the Jean Moulin University Lyon 3 with a doctorate in political science. She wrote her doctoral dissertation on the period between 1986 and 1988 when the President of France faced an antagonistic majority in the French Parliament, with a particular focus on the unprecedented strain that this situation put on French political and legal institutions. The French people (french: Français) are an ethnic group and nation primarily located in Western Europe that share a common French culture, history, and language, identified with the country of France. ''Le Monde'' (; ) is a French daily afternoon newspaper. It is the main publication of Le Monde Group and reported an average circulation of 323,039 copies per issue in 2009, about 40,000 of which were sold abroad. It has had its own website since 19 December 1995, and is often the only French newspaper easily obtainable in non-French-speaking countries. France 24 ( in French) is a French state-owned international news television network based in Paris. Its channels broadcast in French, English, Arabic, and Spanish and are aimed at the overseas market. Based in the Paris suburb of Issy-les-Moulineaux, the service started on 6 December 2006. It is aimed at a worldwide market and is generally broadcast by pay television providers around the world, but additionally, in 2010, France 24 began broadcasting online through its own iPhone and Android apps. Terra Nova is a French independent liberal think tank or "Progressive Foundation" considered close to the French Socialist Party, and later to the French President, Emmanuel Macron.
