Mariano Yenko
Mariano Yenko was the second commissioner of the Philippine Basketball Association. He served as the Assistant Executive Secretary under Executive Secretary Fred Ruiz Castro and Philippine President Ramon Magsaysay and as Philippine Airlines' Vice-President Corporate Secretary. The Ateneo de Manila University's Audio-Visual Room at the Moro Lorenzo Sports Complex was named after him. His son Ignatius Yenko served as PBA's Chairman and as PLDT's First Vice President. PBA Commissioner Yenko became the second PBA commissioner in 1983 and under his term the PBA entered its second phase, the post-EDSA era after the disbandment of Crispa-Toyota. Yenko managed to turn around the league's fortunes by popularizing the Ginebra San Miguel team during his tenure. Leo Prieto
Leopoldo L. Prieto, Sr. (May 19, 1920 – April 7, 2009) was a Filipino sports executive who served as the first commissioner of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Prieto also was a president of the Manila Jockey Club and a supporter of football in the Philippines. Acknowledged as "the father of the PBA", Prieto was named commissioner of the PBA upon its founding in 1975 and served in that capacity until his resignation in 1983. During Prieto's tenure as commissioner, the PBA prominently featured the rivalry between Crispa and Toyota. Prieto was lauded for his integrity and his ability to manage egos. Prieto himself described the requirements expected of a PBA commissioner as one "must have a good grasp of the game" and one who "the PBA Board of Governors can trust and respect." Ginebra San Miguel Inc. (GSMI, ) () (formerly, La Tondeña Distillers, Inc.) is a Philippines-based diversified beverage company majority-owned by San Miguel Corporation (SMC). The Philippine Basketball Association Hall of Fame is an institution that honors selected former players and personalities of the Philippine Basketball Association. Allan Vito Flores Caidic (born June 15, 1963) is a Filipino former professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association. He is considered by many to be the greatest shooter the country has ever produced, thus, earning the moniker, ''"The Triggerman"''. He played college hoops at the University of the East before joining the PBA in 1987, where he broke several Philippine and PBA all-time records—including the most points scored in a single game (79 points), the most three-point field goals made in a single game (17 triples; breaking his previous record of 15 triples), the most consecutive freethrows made (76), and the most three-point field goals in a career (1,242 triples; later surpassed by Jimmy Alapag). Rodrigo Salud
Rodrigo Salud (March 13, 1938 – March 7, 2011) was the third commissioner of the Philippine Basketball Association from 1988 to 1992 and the founding secretary-general of the World Boxing Council.
