Mariano Sanz Novillo
Mariano Sanz Novillo (born 11 November 1989) is a Spanish footballer who plays for CF La Nucía as a forward. Club career Born in Benidorm, Province of Alicante, Valencian Community, Sanz was a youth product of local club Benidorm CF, making his senior debut in the 2006–07 season in the Segunda División B. In July 2010 he signed with CA Osasuna, being assigned to the reserves in the same level. On 17 July 2012, Sanz joined another reserve team, Racing de Santander B still in the third division. In July 2013 he was promoted to the main squad, recently relegated to that league, and appeared in 33 matches in all competitions during the campaign and scored four goals (the most notable in a 2–0 win over La Liga club UD Almería in the Copa del Rey on 14 January 2014), as the Cantabrians returned to Segunda División at the first attempt. Benidorm is a town and municipality in the province of Alicante, Valencia, on the Mediterranean coast of Spain. The 2012–13 Segunda División season (known as the Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 82nd since its establishment. The season started on 17 August 2012 and the league phase of 42 rounds ended on 9 June 2013. The entire season ended on 22 June 2013 with the promotion play-off finals. In sports, an ejection (also known as dismissal, sending-off, disqualification, or early shower) is the removal of a participant from a contest due to a violation of the sport's rules. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time.
