Mariano Díaz
Mariano Díaz Mejía (; born 1 August 1993), known as Mariano, is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for La Liga club Sevilla. Shortly after making his debut for Badalona in 2011, Mariano joined Real Madrid, where he played in the C-team and then the reserves, where he was top scorer in the 2015–16 Segunda División B. He then began playing with the first team, and was part of their squad that won La Liga, the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup in 2016–17. He was subsequently signed by Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyonnais but returned to Madrid one year later. Mariano was born in Spain to a Spanish father and a mother from the Dominican Republic. He played and scored in a friendly match for the Dominican Republic national team in 2013. He then retired from the Dominican Republic team in the hopes of representing Spain. Mariano Díaz Bravo (born 19 August 1929, in Rancagua, Chile) is a Chilean-born Venezuelan photographer, graphic designer and writer, best known for his contributions to the study and promotion of Venezuelan folk art. In 1993, he received the ''Premio Nacional de Arte Popular'' "Aquiles Nazoa" (Popular Culture National Prize), Venezuela's highest honor for folk artists and folk art promoters. Biography Mariano Díaz was born on 19 August 1929, in the city of Rancagua, 87 km south of Chile's capital, Santiago. From 1954 to 1960, Díaz worked as a graphic designer for the University of Chile's Experimental Theater Department. Then, in 1960 he moved to Caracas, Venezuela, invited by the Universidad Central de Venezuela. Mariano Díaz Díaz (17 September 1939 – 5 April 2014) was a Spanish professional road bicycle racer. In 1967, he won a stage of the 1967 Vuelta a España, and also won the mountains classification. He also competed in the individual road race and team time trial events at the 1964 Summer Olympics. Mariano Dias is a former Indian footballer who is currently the head coach for Churchill Brothers S.C. in the I-League. Playing career Dias started his footballing career in 1981 for Salgaocar S.C. and stayed till 1989 when he moved to MRF FC. He stayed at MRF till 1993 and he signed with Churchill Brothers. He stayed at Churchill Brothers till he retired one year later in 1994. Coaching career Dias started coaching the India U14 football team in 2007 during the 2007 AFC U14 Festival. He stayed with India U14 for one year. In 2008 Dias signed with SESA Football Academy. He coached SESA during the 2009 I-League 2nd Division in which SESA failed to gain promotion.
