Mariano Dias
Mariano Dias is a former Indian footballer who is currently the head coach for Churchill Brothers S.C. in the I-League. Playing career Dias started his footballing career in 1981 for Salgaocar S.C. and stayed till 1989 when he moved to MRF FC. He stayed at MRF till 1993 and he signed with Churchill Brothers. He stayed at Churchill Brothers till he retired one year later in 1994. Coaching career Dias started coaching the India U14 football team in 2007 during the 2007 AFC U14 Festival. He stayed with India U14 for one year. In 2008 Dias signed with SESA Football Academy. He coached SESA during the 2009 I-League 2nd Division in which SESA failed to gain promotion. Dias then signed with the Goa Football Association to coach the Goa football team during the 2009 Santosh Trophy tournament which Goa Won after a long time. Later for the 2010 Santosh Trophy. West Bengal Football Team
The West Bengal football team (Bengali: পশ্চিমবঙ্গ ফুটবল দল) is an Indian football team representing West Bengal in Indian state football competitions including the Santosh Trophy. They became the second Indian team to participate in the continental top tier tournament – Asian Champion Club Tournament – by playing in the 1970 edition following Mysore in 1969. 2013–14 Indian Federation Cup
The 2013–14 Indian Federation Cup was the 35th edition of the Federation Cup, the main domestic cup competition in Indian football. A total of 16 teams played in this edition of the tournament in which they all entered in the group stage consisting of four groups of four teams each. The defending champions were East Bengal, who beat Dempo 3–2 in the 2012 final. The final was played on 25 January 2014 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi, Kerala between Churchill Brothers and Sporting Goa, with Churchill Brothers winning 3–1. Teams This edition of the Federation Cup saw 16 teams taking part in the tournament, 13 of which came from the ongoing I-League with the other three coming from the I-League 2nd Division. The Federation Cup (also known as Hero Federation Cup for sponsorship reasons) was an annual knockout football competition in Indian football which started in 1977. From its inception, until I-League was started in 1997 (then called NFL), it was the most prestigious national level club football tournament in India. Until 2017, it was the most important club tournament after the I-League, to which it became a ''de facto'' League Cup. Winner of the Federation Cup was given direct entry in the AFC Cup. The holders of the 2017 Federation Cup were Bengaluru who beat Mohun Bagan 2–0 in the 2017 final held in Cuttack, Odisha.
