Marianela Mirra
Marianela Mirra ( Tucumán, Argentina) is an Argentine reality TV participant and TV personality. She won Argentina's version of '' Big Brother'', '' Gran Hermano''. She was a polemic participant on the show and her decisions were highly criticized. She was born in Córdoba, Argentina on February 14, 1984 and moved to San Miguel de Tucumán at age of two, but now lives in Buenos Aires, where she studies law. She has also worked on ''El Debate'' as an analyst with Mariano Peluffo. Her way through ''Gran Hermano'' was extremely controversial, and indeed divided the audience. However, she ended up winning with more than 1,500,000 votes. The show finale set a record in audience for 2007, and was the most watched show (national television) of the decade. She participated in ''Bailando por un Sueño 2008'' (the Argentine version of ''Dancing with the Stars''). San Miguel de Tucumán (; usually called simply Tucumán) is the capital and largest city of Tucumán Province, located in northern Argentina from Buenos Aires. Mariano Peluffo (born April 1, 1971 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine television presenter. He began his career as a producer in ''El Agujerito Sin Fin'', a children's programme of Canal 13 in the 90s with Julián Weich. His most famous work was in the Gran Hermano's programmes (Big Brothers) (two in 2001 and one in 2002/2003). Between 2003 and 2007, Peluffo worked in ''Zoobichos'', ''Sentí el Verano'' and ''Vamos a Ganar''. ''Bailando por un Sueño 2008'' was the fifth Argentinean season of ''Bailando por un Sueño''. The first show of the season aired on April 14, 2008 as part of the original show, '' Showmatch'', broadcast on Canal 13 and hosted by Marcelo Tinelli. This time, there were 40 couples competing, and the competition lasted 35 weeks. The winner was revealed on the season finale, on December 11, 2008: the model Carolina "Pampita" Ardohaín, who was paired with the professional dancer Nicolás Armengol.
