Maria Norrfalk
Maria Norrfalk (born March 25, 1952), is a Sweden, Swedish civil servant and the incumbent Governor of Dalarna County in Sweden. Norrfalk was educated as a forester, and served as Director General of the Swedish Forest Agency from 1994 to 2003. From 2003 to 2007 Norrfalk was the Director General of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, and from 2007 she has been the Governor of Dalarna County. The cabinet of Fredrik Reinfeldt ( sv, Regeringen Reinfeldt) was the cabinet of Sweden from 2006 to 2014. It was a coalition cabinet consisting of the four parties in the centre-right Alliance for Sweden: the Moderate Party, Centre Party, Liberal People's Party and the Christian Democrats. The cabinet was installed on 6 October 2006, following the 2006 general election which ousted the Social Democrats after twelve years in power. It retained power after the 2010 general election as a minority government, and was the longest-serving consecutive non-social democratic government since the cabinet of Erik Gustaf Boström in 1900. Ingrid Dahlberg
Ingrid Dahlberg (born 1941) is a former Theater Manager and President of ''Dramaten'' (the Swedish Royal Dramatic Theatre), from 1997 to 2002, and Governor (''Landshövding'') of Dalarna County from 2002 to 2006. She is a member of the Board of the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education, and a member of the Honorary Board of the Gothenburg Film Festival, and was a participant in the Tällberg Forum 2005. Ingrid Dahlberg studied at Barlock's School of Commerce and Lindenwood College in the United States. Falun, Sweden
Falun () is a city and the seat of Falun Municipality in Dalarna County, Sweden, with 37,291 inhabitants in 2010. It is also the capital of Dalarna County. Falun forms, together with Borlänge, a metropolitan area with just over 100,000 inhabitants. Falun was originally famous for its copper mine, and is today an important service and industrial city even though the mine is closed (since 1992). Faluån is a river, flowing through the city, separating it into two sides. Falu copper mine is located on one of the sides which during many centuries was one of Sweden's main business. This side of the river was usually called "the mining side", where not many plants grew due to the toxic smoke which contaminated the soil. On the other side of the river, where the smoke did not reach, set many large villas, which made this side to be called "the delightful side". A county administrative board ( sv, länsstyrelse) is a Swedish Government Agency in each of the counties of Sweden, led by a vice-regal governor ( sv, landshövding) appointed by the government for a term of six years. The lists of gubernatorial officeholders, in most cases, stretches back to 1634 when the counties were created by Chancellor Axel Oxenstierna.
