Margrietha Voskuilen
Margrietha Voskuilen (born 5 September 1960, Huizen) is a Dutch curler from the Curling Club Utrecht. She currently plays third for the Dutch national team. She made her international debut in 1995 as a lead for Mirjam Boymans-Gast's 16th place team at the European Curling Championships. Two years later, she was an alternate for Beatrice Miltenburg's 12th place team. In 1999, Voskuilen had moved up to third, for Marie José Tiemstra, and they finished in 13th place. In 2001 and 2002, Voskuilen skipped the Dutch team at the European Championships, and finished 13th and 16th respectively. In 2004, Voskuilen played in the second position for Shari Leibbrandt-Demmon, and they finished 12th, meaning promotion to the A Division. In 2005 they finished in 7th position and were awarded a place into the 2006 Ford World Women's Curling Championship where they finished in the last position. Huizen
Huizen () is a municipality and a village in the province of North Holland, the Netherlands. Curling
Curling is a sport in which players slide stones on a sheet of ice toward a target area which is segmented into four concentric circles. It is related to bowls, boules, and shuffleboard. Two teams, each with four players, take turns sliding heavy, polished granite stones, also called ''rocks'', across the ice ''curling sheet'' toward the ''house'', a circular target marked on the ice. Each team has eight stones, with each player throwing two. The purpose is to accumulate the highest score for a ''game''; points are scored for the stones resting closest to the centre of the house at the conclusion of each ''end'', which is completed when both teams have thrown all of their stones once. European Curling Championships
The European Curling Championships are annual curling tournaments held in Europe between various European nations. The European Curling Championships are usually held in early to mid December. The tournament also acts as a qualifier for the World Championships, where the top eight nations qualify. In November 1974, a six-nations tournament was held in Zürich, Switzerland which included Switzerland, Sweden, Germany, France, Italy, and Norway. In March 1975, it was decided that the championships would be competed in December. At the semi-annual general meeting in Gävle, Sweden in April 2004, a new competition called the European Mixed Curling Championships was formed. Shari Leibbrandt-Demmon
Shari Leibbrandt-Demmon (born March 26, 1966, in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada as Sharri Demmon) is a Canadian-Dutch curling coach who is the National Coach (Bondscoach) for Netherlands Topsport & Talent Curling Program. She coached the National Juniors from 2005- 2014, Team van Dorp 2010 - 2013 and Men's National Selection Team 2014 to current. She also often coaches at International Camps for WCF and is the director of the Junior Division of the Curling Champions Tour. As a junior curler, Leibbrandt-Demmon skipped a team at the 1984 British Columbia Junior Girls championships, finishing 5–4. She joined the Sandra Risebrough rink for the 1988–89 season as her third. The team lost to Debbie Shermack in the final of the 1989 Alberta Scott Tournament of Hearts.
