''Margadarshi'' () is a 1969 Indian Kannada-language film directed by M. R. Vittal and produced by Srikanth Patel and Srikanth Nahatha. The film stars Rajkumar, Chandrakala, T. N. Balakrishna and Narasimharaju. The film has musical score by M. Ranga Rao. The film is based on a novel of the same name by T. R. Chandrakala was an Indian actress who appeared in Telugu language, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil language, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi films. Film career She debuted in Kannada films in 1963 and went on to pair with Dr. Rajkumar, Kalyan Kumar, Uday Kumar and Rajesh (Kannada actor), Rajesh. In 1971, she made her debut in the Tamil movie ''Praptham'' opposite Sivaji Ganesan and Srikanth (Tamil actor, born 1940), Srikanth. Her most significant role was in the film ''Alaigal (film), Alaigal'', directed by C. V. Sridhar. Tiptur Ramaraju Narasimharaju (24 July 1923 – 11 July 1979) was an Indian actor in Kannada cinema who specialised in roles that required ample comic timing. Raaga
A ''raga'' or ''raag'' (; also ''raaga'' or ''ragam''; ) is a melodic framework for improvisation in Indian classical music akin to a melodic mode. The ''rāga'' is a unique and central feature of the classical Indian music tradition, and as a result has no direct translation to concepts in classical European music. Manna Dey
Prabodh Chandra Dey (May 1, 1919 − October 24, 2013), known by his stage name Manna Dey, was an internationally acclaimed and celebrated Indian playback singer, music director, and a musician. As a classical vocalist, he belonged to the Bhendibazaar Gharana and was trained under Ustad Aman Ali Khan.
