Marcus Georges-Hunt
Marcus Anthony Georges-Hunt (born March 28, 1994) is an American-U.S. Virgin Islander professional basketball player for Kuwait SC. He played college basketball for Georgia Tech. High school career Georges-Hunt attended North Clayton High School under coach Martisse Troup. As a senior, he averaged 24.2 points, 14.3 rebounds and 5.2 assists helping the Eagles to a 21–11 record and a berth in the state semifinals. When he graduated, he was North Clayton's all-time leading scorer with 2,189 points and was considered a 4-star recruit, being ranked No. 59 overall in the ESPN100, and No. 14 among small forwards. College career After graduating high school, Georges-Hunt played college basketball for Georgia Tech. 2016 NBA Summer League
The 2016 NBA Summer League consisted of three pro basketball leagues organized by the National Basketball Association (NBA): the Orlando Pro Summer League, Utah Jazz Summer League, and Las Vegas Summer League. Ten teams participated in the week-long Orlando Pro Summer League at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, from July 2 to 8, 2016. 2016 National Invitation Tournament
The 2016 National Invitation Tournament was a single-elimination tournament of 32 NCAA Division I teams that were not selected to participate in the 2016 NCAA tournament. The annual tournament was played on campus sites for the first three rounds, with the Final Four and championship game being held at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The tournament began on Tuesday, March 15 and ended on Thursday, March 31. An experimental rule allowing players six personal fouls instead of five was approved for use in all national postseason tournaments except for the NCAA Tournament. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Basketball
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets men's basketball team represents the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in NCAA Division I basketball. The team plays its home games in McCamish Pavilion on the school's Atlanta campus and is currently coached by Josh Pastner. Cremins led his team to the first ACC tournament victory in school history in 1985 and in 1990 he took Georgia Tech to the school's first Final Four appearance ever.
