Mark Alan Eriksson is an American experimental physicist who specializes in experimental studies of nanostructures. He is the John Bardeen Professor of Physics the University of Wisconsin–Madison Education Eriksson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and physics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1992, followed by a Master of Science and PhD in physics from Harvard University. Career Eriksson's research focuses on nanoscale electronic systems, quantum computing; semiconductor membranes, many-body physics and interacting electrons in low-dimensional systems; and the application of nanoelectronics in biology. Markus Eriksson (born 29 November 1989) is a retired Swedish tennis player. Eriksson has a career high ATP singles ranking of 277, achieved on 19 August 2019. Tennis career Eriksson made his ATP main draw singles debut at the 2013 Swedish Open where he lost in the first round to Martín Alund. In 2014, he made his debut in the main draw of an ATP doubles event, when he and partner Isak Arvidsson received a wild card at the Swedish Open. Marcus Per Eriksson (born 5 December 1993) is a Swedish professional basketball player for Alba Berlin of the Basketball Bundesliga. Early career A native of Uppsala, Sweden, Eriksson left his country in 2010, to further his career at Bàsquet Manresa, in Spain. As a member of Manresa's youth team, he became the MVP of the L’Hospitalet's Junior Tournament in 2010, at the age of 16. Professional career Europe Eriksson made his professional debut in Spain's top-flight league, the ACB, with Manresa's senior men's team during the 2010–11 season. Marcus Thorbjörn Ericsson (; born 2 September 1990) is a Swedish professional racing driver. He competes in the NTT IndyCar Series, driving the No. 8 Honda for Chip Ganassi Racing and is the 2022 Indianapolis 500 winner. Ericsson previously competed in Formula One between 2014 and 2018. After a successful debut in car racing in 2007 which saw him take the British Formula BMW title with Fortec Motorsport, he moved up into the British team's British Formula Three Championship squad. After finishing as one of the top rookies in the category, Ericsson turned his attentions to the All-Japan Formula Three Championship where he won the championship in his debut year.
