Marcos Rojas
Marcos Antonio Rojas Concha (born 2 June 1995) is a Peruvian weightlifter. In 2021, he competed in the men's 61 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He competed in the men's 56 kg at the 2017 World Weightlifting Championships held in Anaheim, United States. In 2018, he won the bronze medal in the men's 56 kg event at the 2018 South American Games held in Cochabamba, Bolivia. In 2019, he finished in 7th place in the men's 61 kg event at the Pan American Games held in Lima, Peru. A few months later, he also competed in the men's 61 kg event at the 2019 World Weightlifting Championships The 2019 World Weightlifting Championships was held in Pattaya, Thailand from 18 to 27 September 2019. Moyobamba
Moyobamba () or Muyupampa ( Quechua ''muyu'' circle, ''pampa'' large plain, "circle plain") is the capital city of the San Martín Region in northern Peru. Called "Santiago of eight valleys of Moyobamba" or "Maynas capital". There are 50,073 inhabitants, according to the 2017 census. Some 3,500 species of orchids are native to the area, which has led to the city's nickname of ''The City of Orchids''. The city is the capital of both Moyobamba Province and Moyobamba District. Olympic weightlifting, or Olympic-style weightlifting (officially named Weightlifting), is a sport in which athletes compete in lifting a barbell loaded with weight plates from the ground to overhead, with each athlete trying to successfully lift the heaviest weights. Athletes compete in two specific ways of lifting the barbell overhead: these are the snatch and the clean and jerk. The ''snatch'' is a wide-grip lift, in which the weighted barbell is lifted overhead in one motion.
