Marco De Santi
Marco de Santi (born 1983) is a Brazilian professional vert skater. Santi was the first person to ever land a triple backflip in the world at woodward's resi ramp. When inline skating was removed from the X-Games, vert skaters found other ways to profit from their sport and their talent. Santi joined Cirque du Soleil. Santi has won many X Games medals. The X Games are an annual extreme sports event organized, produced and broadcast by ESPN. Coverage is also shown on ESPN's sister network, ABC. The inaugural X Games were held during the summer of 1995 in Providence and Newport, Rhode Island, United States. Participants compete to win bronze, silver, and gold medals, as well as prize money. The Gravity Games was a multi-sport competition originating in Providence, Rhode Island that was broken down into Winter and Summer adaptations. The competition featured a variety of extreme sports such as aggressive inline skating, skateboarding, freestyle motocross, BMX freestyle and snowboarding.
