Marco Bergamo (serial Killer)
Marco Bergamo (August 6, 1966 – October 17, 2017), known as The Monster of Bolzano, was an Italian serial killer who murdered five women between 1985 and 1992. Biography Ever since childhood, Bergamo lived with complications: at the age of 4 he stuttered, and later on was obese and suffering from a skin disease, turning him into a shy introvert. He subsequently collected numerous items, including knives — and always carried a knife. After starting work as a welder and carpenter, at the age of 26, in May 1992, he underwent a surgery to remove one of his testicles. Murders Bergamo murdered five women between 1985 and 1992, including a 15-year-old student and four prostitutes, the eldest of whom was 41. Bolzano
Bolzano ( or ; german: Bozen, (formerly ); bar, Bozn; lld, Balsan or ) is the capital city of the province of South Tyrol in northern Italy. Ferdinand Gamper (September 12, 1957 – March 1, 1996), known as The Monster of Merano, was a serial killer in South Tyrol, Italy. He killed six people in Merano during 1996, before he died. Biography Born into a family devoted to pastoralism, Gamper's childhood and adolescence was characterized by poverty and work in the fields. Many described him as a shy person, with a tendency to isolate himself, while others portrayed him as a mentally ill man. As a child he was sexually abused by his father, and perhaps for this reason he was unable to have a normal approach towards women. Gamper spent many years working as a pastor in Switzerland, then returned home, finding employment in a hayloft in Riffian.
