Ciechanów
Ciechanów is a city in north-central Poland. From 1975 to 1998, it was the capital of the Ciechanów Voivodeship. Since 1999, it has been situated in the Masovian Voivodeship. As of December 2021, it has a population of 43,495. History The settlement is first mentioned in a 1065 document by Bolesław II the Bold handing the land over to the church. The medieval gord in Ciechanów numbered approximately 3,000 armed men, and together with the region of Mazovia, it became part of the emerging Polish state in the late 10th century. ''Kryminalni'' (eng. ''Crime Detectives'') was a Polish crime drama television series that aired on TVN network from 18 September 2004 until 24 May 2008. It ran for 8 seasons and 101 episodes were broadcast in total. It was created by Polish director and screenwriter Piotr Wereśniak and produced by MTL Maxfilm studio. The series followed life and work of police officers from the elite Criminal Terror and Murders Division of the Warsaw Metropolitan Police; the title refers to police officers in the crime section. ''Friends'', also known under the original title ''Przyjaciółki'', is a Polish drama which premiered on 6 September 2012 on Polsat. Plot The series follow the story of four friends who met in high school. Their paths then diverged. They meet again years later at a class meeting and realise that they need each other like they never did before. The action happens in Warsaw. Production The pilot episode was filmed in April 2012. Then it was watched by a group of people similar to the profile of the typical Polsat's viewer. The study found that people are willing to come back to it after an advertising break.
