Marcin Robak
Marcin Robak (born 29 November 1982) is a Polish former professional footballer who played as a forward. Between 2010 and 2014, he made nine appearances scoring one goal for the Poland national team. Club career Robak's first club in Ekstraklasa was Korona Kielce, where he made his debut on 25 March 2006. In the next season, he became the first striker of Korona and scored ten goals in the 2007–08 season. He moved from Korona to Widzew Łódź in the next season and was one of the best strikers in I liga, scoring 20 goals in his first season with the club. Widzew, with Robak on board, won promotion to Ekstraklasa the next season, and the in-form Robak received a call-up to the Poland national team. In the middle of the 2010–11 season, he moved to Konyaspor in Turkey. After the club was relegated in the 2011–12 season, he moved to Mersin İdmanyurdu, where he played just for the half of the season. Robak returned to Poland and signed a contract with Piast Gliwice. Pogoń Szczecin
Pogoń Szczecin Spółka Akcyjna, commonly referred to as Pogoń Szczecin (), is a Polish professional football club, based in Szczecin, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, which plays in the Ekstraklasa, the top tier of the national football league system. History The club was founded by Poles from Lwów (now Lviv, Ukraine), who had been transferred west after the Soviet annexation of Poland's eastern territories in 1945. The founders of Pogoń Szczecin had previously been supporters of Pogoń Lwów and the colors of their new club reflect their old club. Marco Filipe Lopes Paixão (born 19 September 1984) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a forward for Turkish club Şanlıurfaspor. Club career Early career Born in Sesimbra, Setúbal District, Paixão spent his early career in Portugal and Spain, playing with lowly teams in both countries – his hometown's G.D. Sesimbra, FC Porto B, CD Guijuelo, Logroñés CF and Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa. The TFF 1. Lig, officially known as Spor Toto 1. Lig for sponsorship reasons, is the second level of the Turkish football league system. The league was founded in 2001 as the ''Turkish Second League Category A'' after the reorganization of the Second Football League, which was the second level of the Turkish league system between 1963 and 2001. The league was called ''Türk Telekom Lig A'' in the 2006–2007 season, and was renamed to ''TFF First League'' prior to the 2007–08 season. As of 16 January 2008 the league was renamed as Bank Asya 1. Süper Lig
The Süper Lig (, ''Super League''), officially known as Spor Toto Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons, is a Turkish professional league for association football clubs. It is the top-flight of the Turkish football league system and is run by the Turkish Football Federation. In the 2022–23 season, nineteen clubs compete, where a champion is decided and three clubs are promoted from, and relegated to the 1. Lig. The season runs from August to May, with each club playing 36 matches. Matches are played Friday through Monday. The competition was initially established in 1923. The league succeeded the Turkish Football Championship and the National Division, both being former top-level national competitions. The Süper Lig is currently 20th in the UEFA coefficient ranking of leagues based on club performances in European competitions over the last five years. The 2010–11 Süper Lig (known as the ''Spor Toto Süper Lig'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 53rd season since its establishment. The season began on 14 August 2010 and concluded on 22 May 2011. Fenerbahçe claimed their 18th title, but the season was marred by the 2011 Turkish football match-fixing scandal which involved 17 Süper Lig teams and dozens of people, including club bosses and Turkish internationals. 2010–11 Ekstraklasa
The 2010–11 Ekstraklasa was the 77th season of the highest level of football leagues in Poland since its establishment in 1927. It began on 6 August 2010 and concluded on 29 May 2011. A total of 16 teams participated, 14 of which competed in the league during the 2009–10 season, while the remaining two were promoted from the I Liga. Each team played a total of 30 matches, half at home and half away. Wisła Kraków won the title, which marked their 13th title in total. 2009–10 I Liga
The 2009–10 I liga was the 62nd season of Sports league, the second tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1949 and the 2nd season of the I liga, Polish I liga under its current title. The league was operated by the Polish Football Association (PZPN). The league is contested by 18 teams who competing for promotion to the 2010–11 Ekstraklasa. The regular season was played in a round-robin tournament. The champions and runners-up would receive promotion. Unlike in previous seasons the third-placed team no longer had the opportunity to compete in playoffs for promotion, while the 13th and 14th placed teams no longer had to compete in play-outs to remain in the I liga. The bottom four teams were automatically demoted to the II liga. The season began on 1 August 2009, and concluded on 9 June 2010. The 2007–08 Ekstraklasa started in July 2007 and ended in mid-May 2008. It was run by the Ekstraklasa SA. The Polish Champion will qualify for the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round. The runner-up and winner of the Polish Cup will qualify for the UEFA Cup first qualifying round. The third placed team will qualify for the second round of the UEFA Intertoto Cup. The bottom two teams will be relegated to Poland League Two for 2008-09 season, with the 3rd bottom team playing off against the 4th-placed team in Poland League Two to decide the final positions for next season (the winner will be either promoted or stay in the top league). The 2006–07 Ekstraklasa started on 28 July 2006 and finished on 26 May 2007. Zagłębie Lubin were crowned champions. For the second time league was sponsored by cell phone operator Orange Polska and official name for championship was Orange Ekstraklasa 2006–07. Corruption On 12 April 2007 PZPN decided about degradation of Górnik Łęczna (two class degradation and 270,000 PLN fine) and Arka Gdynia (one class degradation and 200,000 PLN fine and minus 5 points on the start of next season) due to their involvement in corruption scandal.
