Marcia Fu
Marcia Regina Cunha (born 26 July 1969), known as Marcia Fu, is a retired Brazilian female volleyball player. She participated with the Brazil women's national volleyball team at the 1988 Summer Olympics, 1992 Summer Olympics and 1996 Summer Olympics, winning the bronze medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics. She participated at the 1994 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship The 1994 FIVB Women's World Championship was the twelfth edition of the tournament, organised by the world's governing body, the FIVB. Montreux Volley Masters
The Montreux Volley Masters (founded as the Coupe des Nations, later changed to BCV Volley Cup between 1990 and 1996 and to its current name in 1998) is an international invitational tournament for national teams in women's volleyball hosted by the Swiss Volley. Held annually in Montreux, Switzerland since 1984, it is the tournament that opens the international season for national teams. The main objective of this competition is to work as a preparation for more important and prestigious volleyball tournaments organized by the ''Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' ( FIVB), such as the World Grand Prix, the World Championship, the World Cup and the Olympic Games. 1988 Summer Olympics
The 1988 Summer Olympics (), officially known as the Games of the XXIV Olympiad () and commonly known as Seoul 1988 ( ko, 서울 1988, Seoul Cheon gubaek palsip-pal), was an international multi-sport event held from 17 September to 2 October 1988 in Seoul, South Korea. 159 nations were represented at the games by a total of 8,391 athletes (6,197 men and 2,194 women). 237 events were held and 27,221 volunteers helped to prepare the Olympics. The Brazil women's national volleyball team is administrated by the ''Confederação Brasileira de Voleibol'' (CBV) and takes part in international volleyball competitions. FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Women's U21 World Championship is the world championship of volleyball for female players under the age of 21 organized by ''Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' (FIVB). The first tournament was staged in 1977 FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship, 1977 in Brazil. The second and third tournaments were played at intervals of four years, in 1981 and 1985; with the fourth tournament in 1987 the interval became, and remains, two years. The 2021 FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship, most recent tournament was jointly hosted by Netherlands and Belgium and won by Italy women's national under-21 volleyball team, Italy. The 1993 Women's South American Volleyball Championship was the 20th edition of the Women's South American Volleyball Championship, organised by South America's governing volleyball body, the Confederación Sudamericana de Voleibol (CSV). It was held at Coliseo de la Juventud in Cuzco, Peru from September 12 to 19, 1993. Teams Competition System The competition system for the 1993 Women's South American Championship consisted of a Round-Robin system in which the top two teams in the ranking would play in the final match. On the first round each team plays once against each of the 5 remaining teams. Points are accumulated during the entire round, and the ranking is determined by the total points gained.
