Marcel Groninger
Marcel Groninger (born 19 August 1970) is a Dutch football coach and former player who is assistant coach of the Netherlands U21 national team. In 2013, Groninger won the national Rinus Michels Award for his coaching of Be Quick 1887. Playing career Groninger was a youth player of GRC Groningen, where he was scouted by FC Groningen. He then played in FC Groningen youth. In the season of 1990-1991 he was a member of FC Groningen's first squad. He played mostly on the second team that won the championship of the Reserveklasse. Groninger then played for SC Gronitas, VV Appingedam and Achilles 1894. Managerial career Clubs Groninger started his coaching career at VV Helpman and in 2008 continued to Be Quick 1887. The Royal Dutch Football Association (, ; KNVB ) is the governing body of football in the Netherlands. Erwin van de Looi (born 25 February 1972) is a Dutch professional football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of the Netherlands U21 team. Playing career Van de Looi played in the youth academies of RKHVV and Vitesse 1892 and made his professional debut for second-tier Eerste Divisie club BVV Den Bosch in 1992 as a loanee. After a season, in which he made few appearances, van de Looi was given an opportunity to play by Vitesse head coach Herbert Neumann. Van de Looi impressed and made 30 appearances in his first full season at the club. He would eventually make 133 appearances for Vitesse, whom he also represented in 10 UEFA Cup matches. The Algemeen Nederlands Persbureau BV (ANP) is the largest news agency in the Netherlands. ANP was founded on 11 December 1934 by the association of Dutch newspapers (NDP). Ernest Faber
Ernest Anthonius Jacobus Faber (born 27 August 1971) is a Dutch professional football manager and former player. He was most recently head coach of caretaker manager of Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven. Faber grew up in Eindhoven and played youth football at local club DBS until he joined PSV Eindhoven aged 13. Besides loan spells at NEC, Sparta and Groningen, Faber was part of PSV for 12 seasons and won four Eredivisie titles, a KNVB Cup and four Johan Cruyff Shields. He also played one match for the Netherlands national team in 1998. Injuries plagued Faber throughout his career and forced him to retire at age 32. The KNVB Beker (; en, KNVB Cup), branded as the TOTO KNVB Beker for sponsorship reasons, is a competition in the Netherlands organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) since 1898. It was based on the format of the English FA Cup. Outside the Netherlands, it is often referred to as the Dutch Cup. The tournament consists of all teams from the top four tiers of Dutch league football (Eredivisie, Eerste Divisie, Tweede Divisie and Derde Divisie), as well as the 24 semi-finalists (or replacements) of the six KNVB District Cups.
