Marc Warren (soccer)
Marc Warren (born 11 February 1992) is an Australian professional soccer player who last played as a left-back for Perth Glory in the A-League. He is a product of the Australian Institute of Sport Football Program having played for them in the 2009–10 A-League National Youth League. Born in Sutherland, Australia, Warren spent some time in the United Kingdom where he played for Sheffield United and Airdrie United and has also represented his country at under-17 and under-20 level. Club career Early career Warren grew up in the Sutherland area of Sydney and played for local clubs Menai Hawks and Sutherland Sharks before being selected for the 2009–10 season squad with the Australian Institute of Sport Football Program. Sutherland is a suburb in southern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. At the top of the Australian league system, it is the country's premier men's competition for the sport. The FIFA U-20 World Cup is the biennial football world championship tournament for FIFA members’ men's national teams with players under the age of 20. Frank Farina OAM (born 5 September 1964) is an Australian football (soccer) coach and former player who played as a forward. His playing career spanned Australia, Belgium, France, Italy and England, and was a major player for the Australian National Team in the late 1980s and 1990s, as well as managing the national team in the early 2000s. Trent Lucas Sainsbury (born 5 January 1992) is an Australian professional football player who plays as a centre back for Qatari club Al-Wakrah and the Australian national team.
