The final five nominations are scheduled to be announced on January 24, 2016. Plot Jonas and Silvia are enjoying a wonderful sailing holiday in the Mediterranean sea. But while sailing through the night far away from land, they discover an overloaded refugee boat which is close to sinking. They are shocked but too afraid to help. They call the coast guards but lose the boat out of sight into the darkness of the night. In the early morning, they find themselves drifting through an ocean of dead bodies. Hotel Pennsylvania (2013 Film)
The Hotel Pennsylvania was a hotel at 401 Seventh Avenue (15 Penn Plaza) in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, across from Pennsylvania Station and Madison Square Garden. Opened in 1919, it was once the largest hotel in the world. It remained the city's fourth-largest until it closed permanently on April 1, 2020. After years of unsuccessful preservation battles, it was demolished in 2023. The hotel is to be replaced by 15 Penn Plaza, a 68-story tower. The Pennsylvania Railroad announced the construction of a hotel on Seventh Avenue in 1916, six years after completing the original New York Penn Station. The Hof International Filmfestival is a German film festival that takes place in Hof, Bavaria, every year in October. Apart from numerous foreign productions, the main focus traditionally is on German films. During six festival days, about 130 films (80 feature and documentary films as well as 50 short films) are shown in 8 theaters of 2 cinema centers, adding up to a total of 200 individual film presentations. With the exception of the retrospective, all films are German or world premieres.
