Marc Millecamps
Marc Millecamps (born 9 October 1950) is a Belgian retired footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career During his career Millecamps played for Waregem, with whom he reached the semi-finals of the 1985–86 UEFA Cup, beating Italian club A.C. Milan in the third round. International career Millecamps earned six caps for the Belgium national team, and participated in UEFA Euro 1980 and the 1982 FIFA World Cup. Personal life He is the brother of fellow ex-footballer Luc Millecamps. Waregem (; vls, Woaregem), sometimes known as Waereghem, is a municipality and city located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality lies in the valley of the river Leie, between Kortrijk and Ghent. It is part of the arrondissement of Kortrijk and comprises the towns of Beveren, Desselgem, Sint-Eloois-Vijve and Waregem proper. On January 1, 2019, Waregem had a total population of 38,260. The Belgian National Sports Merit Award is an annual award handed out to a Belgian sportsperson or -team for exceptional merit. Players can only win the award once during their career, making this trophy one of the most prestigious in Belgian sports.
