Maraaya
Maraaya are a Slovenian duo founded by Marjetka Vovk and Aleš Vovk (Raay) in 2014. The group's name is a combination of its members' names, while its pronunciation means "She has Raay" in Slovene. Raay is credited as co-writer and producer for many Slovenian artists. He is credited as the composer on Slovenia's 2014 Eurovision song " Round and Round", and they both contributed to Slovenia's 2014 Junior Eurovision song with "Nisi sam (Your Light)" and 2015 Junior Eurovision song with "Prva ljubezen" (The First Love). In 2013 Raay co-wrote and produced the music for " My Way Is My Decision", a hit song performed by Slovenian alpine skier Tina Maze. Raay co-wrote, produced and recorded first two singles (" Muza" and " Heart of Gold") for BQL, a Slovenian brothers duo. In September 2017 they signed a contract with Warner Music Group and became the first Slovenian artists to sign with Warner Music. SloTop50 is the official Slovenian singles chart provider established by SAZAS (The association of composers and authors for protection of copyright of Slovenia) in 2013. It presents weekly, monthly and yearly singles charts, following 61 various radio stations across Slovenia. It publishes weekly charts once a week, every Sunday. Chart contain data generated by the SloTop50 system according to any song played during the period starting the previous Monday morning at time 00:00:00 and ending Sunday night at 23:59:59. BQL (group)
BQL are a Slovene duo from Prevalje founded in 2016. It consists of two brothers; Rok (vocal, piano) and Anej Piletič (vocal, guitar). They are the first domestic artists at the Slovenian official singles charts SloTop50, who managed to hit the peak chart positions with two singles: one week with " Muza" and four weeks with " Heart of Gold". Nika Zorjan
Nika Zorjan (born 3 December 1992) is a Slovenian singer and songwriter. Zorjan began her music career in 2010 as a contestant on the first season of ''Slovenija ima talent'', the Slovenian version of ''Got Talent'', later signing with Raay Music, the record label of Slovene duo Maraaya. She made her debut in 2012 with the single "Čas za nas", which was written by Maraaya. She later released the single "Nasmeh življenja" in 2013, which went on to become one of the most-played singles on Slovenian radio of the year in 2013 and 2014. Slovenia selected their Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 entry through Mini EMA 2015. The competing songs were broken down into two semi-finals taking place on 20 September and 27 September 2015 and the final on 4 October 2015.
