Mapuá River
The Mapuá River ( pt, Rio Mapuá) is a river of Pará state in north-central Brazil. It is a left tributary of the Aramá River. Course The Mapuá River rises on the island of Marajó in the delta region where the Amazon and Tocantins rivers empty into the Atlantic Ocean. It runs along the southern boundary of the Mapuá Extractive Reserve. The Mapuá is a left tributary of the Aramã, which forms the northern boundary of the reserve. The reserve contains sheets of tidal water and mangroves. The reserve is mostly lowland floodplain, with some terra firma in the centre of the territory. Māpua, New Zealand
Māpua is a small town in the South Island of New Zealand. It is to the west of Nelson on State Highway 60 and on the coastline of Tasman Bay. With a thriving wharf and commercial area, Māpua has grown in popularity for visitors, with numbers swelling the region over the summer months. A large fair and market is held every Easter Sunday. Mapúa University
Mapúa University ( fil, Pamantasang Mapúa), also known simply as Mapúa or MU, is a private research-oriented non-sectarian university located in Metro Manila, Philippines. The university was founded in 1925 by the first registered Filipino architect, Tomás Mapúa, a graduate of Cornell University in New York. In 2000, the university was acquired by the Yuchengco Group of Companies. The university's main campus is located in the historic district of Intramuros in Manila, while a satellite campus is located in Makati. The university is home to 10 degree-granting colleges and one secondary school department. It has nine programs recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as Centers of Excellence and Centers of Development.
