Tori Zietsch known professionally as Maple Glider, is an Australian pop singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. Maple Glider released her debut album in June 2021. Early life In 2020, Tori Zietsch said "I was raised from birth in quite a restrictive religious household" in Lismore, New South Wales. She moved to Melbourne to be "ensconced in the music community". Career 2017: Seavera Zietsch partnered up with childhood friend, producer Daniel Pinkerton and formed Seavera, pairing acoustic guitars with dramatic electronics. In late 2017 Seavera won the very first Pie School initiative and worked with the team from Pieater to record a song that never released. Seavera parted ways soon after. 2021 Music Victoria Awards
The 2021 Music Victoria Awards were the 16th Annual Music Victoria Awards. The ceremony took place on 9 December 2021 at the Melbourne Recital Centre. The 2021 awards featured a number of changes, including a brand new category for Best Pop Act and the inaugural Arts Access Victoria Amplify Award (for deaf and disabled musicians). All genre categories will now be assessed on the act rather than album, with the requirement that nominees have released at least multiple recordings between 1 July 2020 – 30 June 2021. New CEO Simone Schinkel headed up the event for the first time this year, taking over from Music Victoria founder, Patrick Donovan. The 2022 AIR Awards is the sixteenth annual Australian Independent Record Labels Association Music Awards ceremony (generally known as the AIR Awards). It took place on 4 August 2022 in Adelaide.
