Manuele Boaro
Manuele Boaro (born 12 March 1987) is an Italian professional road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Born in Bassano del Grappa, Boaro competed for U.C. Giorgione Aliseo as a junior, and and as an amateur. Boaro joined professional team in the second half of 2010 as a stagiaire. After completing his stagiaire stint, Boaro joined for the 2011 season, on a one-year contract. His contract was extended by two more years in late 2011. He was named in the startlist for the 2016 Vuelta a España. After the team disbanded, Boaro joined . In August 2018 it was announced that Boaro would join from 2019 on a two-year contract, with a role as a domestique. Bassano del Grappa ( vec, Basan or ''Bassan'', ) is a city and ''comune'', in the Vicenza province, in the region of Veneto, in northern Italy. It bounds the communes of Cassola, Marostica, Solagna, Pove del Grappa, Romano d'Ezzelino, Campolongo sul Brenta, Conco, Rosà, Cartigliano and Nove. Some neighbourhoods of these communes have become in practice a part of the urban area of Bassano, so that the population of the whole conurbation totals around 70,000 people. The 16th century painter Jacopo Bassano was born, worked, and died in Bassano, and took the town name as his own surname. The Giro del Veneto is a classic cycle races, semi classic European Road bicycle racing, bicycle race held in the region of Veneto, Italy. The race is a 1.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour.
