Zella-Mehlis is a town in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district, in Thuringia, Germany. It is situated in the Thuringian Forest, 5 km north of Suhl, and 20 km east of Meiningen. The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 1999 took place February 19–28, 1999 in Ramsau am Dachstein, Austria. The large hill ski jumping events took place at the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen. The 7.5 km Nordic combined sprint event debuted at these championships. Ute Noack (born 27 December 1961) is a former East German cross-country skier who competed during the 1980s. Noack was born in Annaberg-Buchholz, Bezirk Karl-Marx-Stadt. She won a bronze medal in the 4 × 5 km relay at the 1985 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Seefeld and also finished 11th in the 20 km event at those same championships. Antje Misersky
Antje Harvey (born May 10, 1967 in Magdeburg, as Antje Misersky) is a former German cross-country skier and biathlete. She began her career as cross country skier and was a member of the East German team that won the 4 × 5 km bronze medal at the 1985 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Seefeld. When her father, Henner Misersky, who worked as a trainer of the East German team until 1985, refused to give steroid substances to his daughter and other team members, he was fired.
