Manuel Schmiedebach
Manuel Schmiedebach (born 5 December 1988) is a German professional footballer who plays for German side Grün-Weiß Ahrensfelde. Career Born in West Berlin, Schmiedebach was first a product of hometown club Hertha BSC's youth teams. In 2008 he joined the amateur team of Hannover 96 II in the Regionalliga Nord on a free transfer. 2013–14 Regionalliga
The 2013–14 Regionalliga was the sixth season of the Regionalliga, the second under the new format, as the fourth tier of the German football league system. The champions of Regionalliga Nord – Holstein Kiel – and Regionalliga Nordost – RB Leipzig – as well as Regionalliga Südwest runners-up SV Elversberg were promoted to the 3. Liga. Alemannia Aachen, Babelsberg 03 and Kickers Offenbach were relegated from 3. Liga. The 2016–17 Hannover 96 season is the first since being relegated from the Bundesliga. Background Hannover were relegated from the Bundesliga. They had been in the Bundesliga for 14 seasons. This was the fifth time they were relegated from the Bundesliga. Hannover 96 are looking for a new coach. During the 2015–16 season, Michael Frontzeck resigned and Thomas Schaaf was sacked. Off-season Hannover made five new signings over the summer period—Salif Sané from Nancy, Edgar Prib from Greuther Fürth, Leonardo Bittencourt from Borussia Dortmund, and youngsters Konstantin Fuhry from Stuttgart under-19's and Florian Ballas from Nürnberg II. Hannover also lost Sérgio Pinto to Levante and both Mohammed Abdellaoue and Konstantin Rausch to Stuttgart.
