Manuel Pena Garces
Manuel Peña Garcés (born January 2, 1983, in Castellón de la Plana) is a Spanish basketball coach, who is currently the Coach of Satria Muda Pertamina of the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL), he was last in Gran Canaria at Liga Endesa and Eurocup as assistant coach alongside Jaka Lakovic. In 2022-2023 they won the Eurocup title. During 2021–2022 he served as Sporting Technical Director at Stadium Casablanca after serving three years at Basket Zaragoza as Assistant Coach iLiga Endesa He spent five seasons at Reading Rockets in English NBL1 where they got different achievements (1 Regular League, 1 National Cup and 1 Trophy) arriving to different finals and increasing the structure of the club; meanwhile Manuel Pena was Head Coach and Technical Director. Castellón de la Plana (officially in ca-valencia, Castelló de la Plana), or simply Castellón ( ca-valencia, Castelló, link=no) is the capital city of the province of Castellón, in the Valencian Community, Spain. Satria Muda Pertamina is an Indonesian basketball team seeing action through the Perbasi's highest division since 1996. Based in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta, it is Indonesia's representative team to the inaugural Asean Basketball League. Affectionately called ''"SM Pertamina"'' or ''"SMP"''. The Indonesian Basketball League (IBL; id, Liga Bola Basket Indonesia) is the preeminent men's professional basketball league in Indonesia, founded by Indonesian Basketball Association (Perbasi) in 2003. Club Baloncesto Gran Canaria – Claret, S.A.D., is a professional basketball club based in Las Palmas, Spain. The team plays in the Liga ACB. Their home arena is the Gran Canaria Arena. From 2012 until 2021, they have been sponsored by Herbalife. History CB Gran Canaria was founded inside Claret School and for many years played under that denomination. Following a successful period in school competitions, a senior team was created and integrated on the Spanish Second Division. The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. Administrated by the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), Liga ACB is contested by 18 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the LEB Oro and replaced by the top team in that division plus the winner of the promotion playoffs. The competition was founded as the ACB Primera División on 1983 following the decision of clubs in the Liga Nacional, founded in 1957, to break away from the Spanish Basketball Federation and professionalize the league. The league's accumulated revenues were worth around €30 million in 2020, with Endesa and Movistar Plus+ contributing 50% of the revenues of the league.
