Manuel José Vieira
Manuel José Azevedo Vieira (born 4 February 1981), known as Manuel José, is a Portuguese former professional footballer. Mainly a right midfielder, he could also play as an attacking right-back. Club career Born in Vila Nova de Gaia, Porto District, Manuel José unsuccessfully graduated from FC Porto's academy, going on to serve a number of loans before being released in June 2005. He made his Primeira Liga debut with Académica de Coimbra, where he played from January to June 2003. After a solid season with Porto's neighbours Boavista FC, Manuel José joined Romania's CFR Cluj Portuguese contingent in June 2006, for €300,000. In his first year in Liga I he was a regular and the team player with the most assists, totalling 11; however, with the arrival of Ioan Andone as head coach in summer 2007, he lost his place in the starting XI and failed to regain that position. Vila Nova De Gaia
Vila Nova de Gaia (; ), or simply Gaia, is a city and a municipality in Porto District in Norte Region, Portugal, Norte Region, Portugal. Portugal National Under-20 Football Team
The Portugal national under-20 football team is the national under-20 football team of Portugal and is controlled by the Portuguese Football Federation, the governing body for football in Portugal. The U20 team acts mainly as a feeder team for the under-21s and provides further international development for youth players. Ioan Andone
Ioan Andone (; born 15 March 1960) is a Romanian professional football coach and former player. Club career Corvinul Hunedoara Ioan Andone, nicknamed "Fălcosul" was born on 15 March 1960 in Șpălnaca , and when he was 14 years old, he played basketball and football simultaneously, Carol Gal being his first football coach at Școala Sportivă Hunedoara. At 16, he decided to concentrate exclusively on his football career when he went to Corvinul Hunedoara's youth center where he was coached by Dumitru Pătrașcu. On 7 March 1979, Andone made his Divizia A debut for Corvinul when coach Mircea Lucescu sent him on the field to replace Radu Nunweiller in the last 20 minutes of a 2–0 away loss against Sportul Studențesc București. In association football, an assist is a contribution leading to the Scoring in association football, scoring of a goal, where the contribution is made by someone on the scoring team other than the scorer. Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1 and officially known as SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Romania and the highest level of the Romanian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation from and to Liga II. The 2006–07 Liga I was the eighty-ninth season of Liga I, the top-level association football, football league of Romania. Season began on 28 July 2006 and ended on 23 May 2007. Teams Eighteen teams played in the 2006–07 season. Four teams were from Moldova (Romanian region), Moldova, four clubs from Transylvania, one from Northern Dobruja, Dobruja and nine from Wallachia four of them coming from the country's capital city Bucharest. The 2005–06 Primeira Liga was the 72nd edition of top flight of Portuguese football. It started on 19 August 2005 with a match between Sporting CP and Belenenses and ended on 7 May 2006. The league was contested by 18 clubs with Benfica as defending champions. The Primeira Liga (), also known as Liga Portugal Betclic for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Portugal and the highest level of the Portuguese football league system. Organised and supervised by the Liga Portugal, it has been contested by 18 teams since the 2014–15 season, with the three lowest-placed teams relegated to the Liga Portugal 2 and replaced by the top-three non-reserve teams from this division.
