Manuel Humberto Cota Jiménez (born 2 March 1961) is a Mexicans, Mexican politician affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party, PRI. He served as Senator of the LXII Legislature of the Mexican Congress representing Nayarit and as a member of the Chamber of Deputies (Mexico), Chamber of Deputies during the LXI Legislature of the Mexican Congress, LXI Legislature. Chamber Of Deputies (Mexico)
The Chamber of Deputies (Spanish: ''Cámara de Diputados'', ) is the lower house of the Congress of the Union, the bicameral parliament of Mexico. The other chamber is the Senate. The structure and responsibilities of both chambers of Congress are defined in Articles 50 to 70 of the constitution. History Bicameral legislature, including the Chamber of Deputies, was established on 4 October 1824. Unicameral Congress was in place from 7 September 1857 to 13 November 1874. After being drafted, one copy of the Declaration of Independence of the Mexican Empire was given to the Provisional Governmental Board, which was later put on display in the Chamber of Deputies until 1909, when fire destroyed the location. Tepic Municipality
The Municipality of Tepic is one of the 20 municipalities dividing the Mexican state of Nayarit; its head city (the seat of the municipal government), the city of Tepic, is also the capital of the state. Geography The municipality of Tepic is located in the center-south zone of the state of Nayarit, just at the foot of the Sierra Madre Oriental mountain range and in its transition towards the Pacific Coastal Plain. A ''presidente municipal'' (English: "municipal president") is the chief of government of municipios in Mexico. This title was also used in the Philippines under the Spanish and American colonization; it is comparable to a mayor of the town or city.
