Manu Stockbroekx
Emmanuel Stockbroekx (born 23 December 1993) is a Belgian field hockey player who plays for Orée and the Belgian national team as a defender. Club career Stockbroekx played in Belgium for Dragons until 2016, when he moved to the Netherlands to play for Bloemendaal. In April 2019, he announced he would return to Dragons after a three year stint at Bloemendaal. In his final season with Bloemendaal, he won the Dutch national title by defeating Kampong in the championship final. In June 2020, it was announced he joined Royal Orée for the 2020–21 season. International career With Belgium, Stockbroekx became European vice-champion at the 2013 European Championship on home ground in Boom. Three years later, he appeared at the 2016 Summer Olympics field hockey tournament. During the Olympic tournament's group phase, he scored a goal against Spain. Brasschaat
Brasschaat () is a municipality located in Flanders, one of the three regions of Belgium, and in the Flemish province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the town of Brasschaat proper. 2014–15 Men's FIH Hockey World League
The 2014–15 Men's FIH Hockey World League was the second season of the men's field hockey national team league series. The tournament started in July 2014 in Sveti Ivan Zelina, Croatia and finished in December 2015 in Raipur, India. The Semifinals of this competition also served as a qualifier for the 2016 Summer Olympics as the 6 highest placed teams apart from the host nation and the five continental champions qualified. Australia won the tournament's Final round for the first time after defeating Belgium 2–1 in the final match. India won the third place match by defeating the Netherlands 3–2 on a penalty shootout after a 5–5 draw. EuroHockey Nations Championship
The EuroHockey Nations Championship is an international men's field hockey competition organised by the European Hockey Federation (EHF) for the top eight European national teams. It is the top division of the EuroHockey Nations Championships. The tournament started in 1970. When the tournament is held close to the Summer Olympic games or the Hockey World Cup, the winner of the tournament is awarded a place in those competitions. Format Since 2005 the tournament is played in Divisions, normally consisting of 8 teams. The top division, containing the eight best national teams, is called the EuroHockey Championship, below which there is the EuroHockey Championship II, then the EuroHockey Championship III, then the EuroHockey Championship IV, and so on. Hamstring Injury
Straining of the hamstring, also known as a pulled hamstring, is defined as an excessive stretch or tear of muscle fibers and related tissues. Hamstring injuries are common in athletes participating in many sports. Track and field athletes are particularly at risk, as hamstring injuries have been estimated to make up 29% of all injuries in sprinters. Hamstring injuries can also come with a hip injury from sprinting. Symptoms for a hip injury are pain, aching and discomfort while running or any physical exercise. The biceps femoris long head is at the most risk for injury, possibly due to its reduced moment of knee and hip flexion as compared to the medial hamstrings. Boom (, ; ) is a Belgian town, located in both the arrondissement and province of Antwerp. In 2021, Boom had a total population of 18,799. The total area is 7.37 km² (2.85 sq mi).
