Jerri Lynn Manthey (born September 5, 1970) is an American actress and television personality. She was a contestant in ''Survivor: The Australian Outback'', where she placed 8th, ''Survivor: All-Stars, All-Stars'', where she placed 10th and ''Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, Heroes vs. Villains'', where she placed 4th, giving Manthey her highest ranked finish during her time on the show. Mante, formally Ciudad Mante, is a city in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas. The city is the municipal seat of El Mante municipality in extreme southern Tamaulipas, and lies in the northwestern portion of the municipality. Imperial German plans for the invasion of the United States were ordered by staff officers from 1897 to 1903 as training exercises in planning for war. The hypothetical operation was supposed to force the US to bargain from a weak position and to sever its growing economic and political connections in the Pacific Ocean, the Caribbean, and South America so that German influence could increase there. Junior officers made various plans, but none were seriously considered and the project was dropped in 1906. The first plan was made in the winter of 1897–1898, by Lieutenant , and targeted mainly American naval bases in Hampton Roads to reduce and constrain the US Navy and threaten Washington, D.C. Matthew Bruce Mantei AN-tie(born July 7, 1973) is an American former Major League Baseball relief pitcher. In his career, Mantei played with the Florida Marlins, Arizona Diamondbacks and Boston Red Sox. He batted and threw right-handed. Career Mantei had four pitches. He had two fastballs, one of which regularly hit 95 MPH and occasionally hit 100, a sharp curve and an occasional slider. He was also known to throw a knuckleball earlier in his career. Two issues concerning his play were his control and his ability for his arm to stay healthy. Between 1995 and 1996, Mantei had only pitched in 26 games for the Marlins. He missed the 1997 season due to injury and came back in 1998 to post an ERA of 2.96 in 42 games.
