Manta Fútbol Club
Manta was founded in 1998 after the purchase of the franchise rights from the defunct Manta Sport. From 1999–2001, the club competed in the Segunda Categoría, the third tier of Ecuadorian football league system before being promoted in 2002 to Serie. Manta won promotion again in 2003 to Serie A for the first time but finished poorly and were relegated back to Serie B where they would spend the next 6 seasons. 2009 saw the club back in Serie A but no titles were forthcoming and they were relegated again in 2014. They got promoted back to the Ecuadorian Serie A in 2020 and will play in the first tier after a 7 year absence. Vinicio Angulo (born July 26, 1988) is an Ecuadorian footballer who plays for D' León in the Ecuadorian Serie B as a forward. Club career Vinicio came out as a professional at Barcelona SC. Juan Manuel Llop
Juan Manuel Llop (born 1 June 1963 in Arroyo Dulce, Santa Fe) is an Argentine football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. Before taking up management Llop had a 15-year career as a football player, he made appearances for several clubs, most notably for Newell's Old Boys under coaches José Yudica and Marcelo Bielsa during the club's golden era (1987–1992), winning 3 Argentine titles. Armando Osma Rueda (born 7 December 1961) is a Colombian football manager and former player who played as a forward. He is the current manager of Colombian club Bogotá. Gabriel Gustavo Perrone (born 1965 in Buenos Aires) is a retired Argentine footballer who currently works as a coach. Playing career As a player, Perrone played as a central defender and he started his career playing for Argentine giants River Plate where he played for two seasons from 1986 to 1988. Fabián Daniel Bustos Barbero (born 28 March 1969) is an Argentine football manager and former player who played as a forward. He is the manager of Ecuadorian club Barcelona SC.
