Mansour Rashid El-Kikhia
Mansour Rashid Kikhia (also spelled Mansur, ar, منصور الكيخيا; December 1931 – c. 1993) was the Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs (1972–1973), Libyan Ambassador to the United Nations, Permanent Libyan Representative to the United Nations (1975–1980), and later an opposition figure to Libya's leader Muammar Gaddafi, and human rights activist. Biography He was born in Benghazi, Libya in 1931. As a child, he studied in his hometown Benghazi before being sent to Egypt to attend high school and graduated from a university in 1950. al-Kikhia received a degree in International Law from Paris-Sorbonne University. In 1962, he joined the Libyan Embassy in France and then, in Algeria in 1963. He was made Libyan General Consul to the UN office in Geneva (1963-1967) and a member of the Libyan Mission to the United Nations in 1968. Benghazi, Libya

Reda Helal
Reda Helal (Arabic: رضا هلال) is an Egyptian journalist. He was deputy editor of Al-Ahram newspaper until 11 August 2003 when he disappeared in a presumed kidnapping. He was also a political activist, and a founding member of the Cairo Peace Society (CPS), a Copenhagen criteria support group. Disappearance Helal disappeared en route from Al-Ahram's offices to his home in Kasr El Aini hospital street in downtown Cairo. A factor which makes his disappearance all the more puzzling is that this is one of the most secure streets in the Egyptian capital as it contains the headquarters of the Arab League, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, the American Embassy and the Egyptian Museum. On the day of his disappearance Helal's family presented a complaint about it to Sayyeda Zeinab police station. Saad Eddin Ibrahim ( arz, سعد الدين إبراهيم, ) (born 31 December 1938) is an Egyptian sociologist and author. He is one of Egypt's leading human rights and democracy activists, and a strong critic of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. Biography Born in Bedeen, Mansoura, Egypt, Ibrahim is credited for playing a leading role in the revival of Egypt's contemporary research-based civil society movement. For most of his professional career, Ibrahim was a professor in the American University in Cairo's (AUC) Department of Sociology, having previously taught sociology at Indiana's DePauw University from 1967 to 1974.
