Mansour Abdulrahim Al-Saleem (born 16 March 1988) is a Saudi Arabian weightlifter. He won a medal at the 2019 World Weightlifting Championships The 2019 World Weightlifting Championships was held in Pattaya, Thailand from 18 to 27 September 2019. Olympic weightlifting, or Olympic-style weightlifting (officially named Weightlifting), is a sport in which athletes compete in lifting a barbell loaded with weight plates from the ground to overhead, with each athlete trying to successfully lift the heaviest weights. Athletes compete in two specific ways of lifting the barbell overhead: these are the snatch and the clean and jerk. At the 2011 Pan Arab Games, the weightlifting events were held at Al Dana Hall in Doha, Qatar from 13–17 December. A total of 12 events were contested. Medal summary Men Women Doping One athlete from Weightlifting was caught using performance-enhancing drugs. Silver medalist Ayecha Albalooshi from United Arab Emirates who participated in Women's -58 kg was caught and stripped of her medal. The World Weightlifting Championships is an event organised by International Weightlifting Federation (IWF). The first competition, held in March 1891, was won by Edward Lawrence Levy of England.
