Mansoor Rana
Mansoor Rana ( ur, ), (born 27 December 1962) is a former Pakistani cricketer who played two One Day Internationals. Despite scoring more than 12,000 runs in first-class cricket, he was unable to break into his country's Test cricket side, due to the presence of Javed Miandad, Salim Malik and others. He is now one cricket coach in Pakistan and currently a manager with the Pakistan Cricket Team. Rana is the son of former Pakistani cricket umpire Shakoor Rana and brother of Maqsood Rana. A One Day International (ODI) is a form of limited overs cricket, played between two teams with international status, in which each team faces a fixed number of overs, currently 50, with the game lasting up to 9 hours. The Cricket World Cup, generally held every four years, is played in this format. One Day International matches are also called Limited Overs Internationals (LOI), although this generic term may also refer to Twenty20 International matches. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps.
