Mannheim Forum
The Mannheim Forum is an interdisciplinary congress organized exclusively by students of the University of Mannheim and, with more than 500 participants per year, is one of the largest universities conferences in Germany. During the Mannheim Forum, various events take place on the Mannheim main campus - the Mannheim Palace in Mannheim - giving participants the opportunity to discuss current topics with well-known personalities from politics, business and society. Besides the Mannheim forum offers different possibilities to develop faculty-spreading contacts and conduct Networking with different enterprises. Mannheim Business School (MBS) is the umbrella organization for management education at the University of Mannheim. Barbara Hendricks (politician)
Barbara Anne Hendricks (born 29 April 1952) is a German politician of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) who served as Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety in the government of Chancellor Angela Merkel from 2013 until 2018. From 2007 to 2013, Hendricks was Federal Treasurer of the SPD, and from 1998 to 2007 she was Parliamentary Secretary of State at the Federal Ministry of Finance. Gregor Florian Gysi (; born 16 January 1948) is a German attorney, former president of the Party of the European Left and a prominent politician of The Left (''Die Linke'') political party. Media Markt is a German multinational chain of stores selling consumer electronics with over 1000 stores in Europe. With chain of stores Saturn it constitutes Media-Saturn Holding, owned by the retail company Ceconomy, which was demerged from Metro Group in 2017. Peter Bofinger
Peter Bofinger (born September 18, 1954) is a German economist and a former member of the German Council of Economic Experts. Career Following his studies, Bofinger worked as staff member to the Council of Economic Experts between 1978 and 1981. From 1984 until 1990, he was an economist at the Bundesbank. Since 1992, Bofinger has been a professor at the University of Würzburg. Between 1997 and 1999, he served as Dean of the university’s Department of Economics. Christoph Biemann (born 6 August 1952) is a German writer, director and producer and one of the presenters of the award-winning children's television show, '' Die Sendung mit der Maus''. The Sabines (; lat, Sabini; it, Sabini, all exonyms) were an Italic people who lived in the central Apennine Mountains of the ancient Italian Peninsula, also inhabiting Latium north of the Anio before the founding of Rome. The Sabines divided into two populations just after the founding of Rome, which is described by Roman legend. The division, however it came about, is not legendary. The population closer to Rome transplanted itself to the new city and united with the preexisting citizenry, beginning a new heritage that descended from the Sabines but was also Latinized.
