Mannering Park is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the local government area. It was formerly called Vales Point. Mannering Park has a public school, tennis courts, open basketball and netball courts, tourist park (BIG4 Lake Macquarie Monterey Tourist Park), two ovals, a number of public access parkssailing clubalso known as MPASC (Mannering Park Amateur Sailing Club), sea scout group, and a long lakefront reserve. Central Coast (New South Wales)
The Central Coast is a peri-urban region in New South Wales, Australia, lying on the Tasman Sea coast to the north of Sydney and south of Newcastle. The local government area of the Central Coast Council has an estimated population of 333,627 as of June 2018, growing by 1% annually. Comprising localities such as Gosford, Wyong and Terrigal, the area is the third-largest urban area in New South Wales and the ninth-largest urban area in Australia. Geographically, the Central Coast is generally considered to include the region bounded by the Hawkesbury River in the south, the Watagan Mountains in the west and the southern end of Lake Macquarie, lying on the Sydney basin. Wyee, New South Wales
Wyee ( )) is a small town in the Lake Macquarie and Central Coast regions of New South Wales, Australia, in the City of Lake Macquarie and Central Coast Council. It is near the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway and has a railway station (opened 1892) on NSW TrainLink's Central Coast & Newcastle Line. It had a population of 1,487 in 2001, which significantly increased to 2,588 in 2011, and decreased to 2,406 in 2016. Wyee is considered a shanty town and remains highly unchanged since World War II. Wyee is said to be derived from an Awabakal Aboriginal term for "fire" or "place of bushfires". The Awabakal are the traditional people of this area. Wyee is part of the City of Lake Macquarie but it lacks a connection to sewer system; there are the Hunter Water Sewage Treatment Plant and the Wyong Shire Treatment Plant in the area.
