Mannavaru Chinnavaru
''Mannavaru Chinnavaru'' is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by P. N. Ramachandra Rao. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Arjun and Soundarya, while Maheswari, Visu and K. R. Vijaya play supporting roles. This is the 100th film for Arjun. The film was a remake of Telugu film '' Subhavartha'', with Arjun and Soundarya reprising their roles from the original version, after Arjun expressed his interest further in remaking the film. Cast Production Arjun expressed his interest in remaking his Telugu film ''Subhavartha'' in Tamil reprising his and Soundarya's role for second time in Tamil. Thanu approached Sivaji Ganesan for an important role to which he accepted to act. The film's inauguration function took place in Chennai, at Teynampet, Kamarajar Hall, on 6 August 1998. Sivaji Ganesan
Villupuram Chinnaiya Manrayar Ganesamoorthy, better known by his stage name Sivaji Ganesan, (1 October 1928 – 21 July 2001) was an Indian actor and producer. He was active in Tamil cinema during the latter half of the 20th century. Sivaji Ganesan is acknowledged as one of the greatest Indian actors of all time and among the most imitated one by other actors. He was known for his versatility and the variety of roles he depicted on screen, which gave him also the Tamil nickname ''Nadigar Thilagam'' (). In a career that spanned close to five decades, he had acted 288 films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Nagoor Babu, known by his stage name Mano, is an Indian playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, producer, television anchor and composer. He is a recipient of several awards such as the Nandi Awards from the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Kalaimamani award from the Government of Tamil Nadu. Sadhana Sargam (née Ghanekar, born 7 March 1969) is an Indian singer known for her playback career in Indian cinema predominantly in Hindi, Bengali, Telugu and Tamil language films. Anu Mohan (born as David Stanley, on 3 December 1957) is an Indian actor and director who has worked in Tamil language films. Srihari (15 August 1964 – 9 October 2013) was an Indian actor who was active mainly in Telugu cinema. He appeared in a few Tamil, Kannada and Hindi films as well. He won seven Nandi Awards and one Filmfare Award. Early life Srihari was born near Vijayawada, Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh. His parents were from Gudivada. They moved to Hyderabad, and settled in Balanagar when he was still a child. He started his career as a stunt fighter. He was also an athlete in gymnastics. He was offered jobs such as sub-inspector of police and railway officer, but he rejected those offers because he was interested in pursuing an acting career. Srihari completed his degree in 1986.
