Route description PR 354 begins at PTH 10 and PR 262 at Onanole, and terminates at the Canadian National Railway main line near Bradwardine. From Onanole, it travels west before meeting southbound PR 270. From PR 270, PR 354 turns north for before turning west through the community of Crawford Park. The road then continues west for before meeting southbound PR 250. The road continues west for another before turning south at the unincorporated community of Horod. Approximately south of Horod, the road meets eastbound PR 470. The two roads run in concurrence for before PR 470 turns west and leaves the concurrence. Onanole, Manitoba
Onanole is a community the Municipality of Harrison Park in Manitoba, Canada, popular as a summer colony. Onanole is located in southwest Manitoba, at the south entrance to Riding Mountain National Park. It sits roughly due north of the city of Brandon, and east of the Saskatchewan border. The community was first recognized when a post office opened in 1928, with Neil W. Tracy as postmaster. Elphinstone is an unincorporated community recognized as a local urban district in the Rural Municipality of Yellowhead in the Canadian province of Manitoba. Manitoba Provincial Road 263 is a former provincial road in the Canadian province of Manitoba. Route description PR 263 began at a 'T' junction with PR 262 north of Scandinavia. From this junction, it travelled northwest before meeting PTH 10 in Onanole. The two highways shared a very short (~20m) concurrence before PR 263 left the concurrence and continued west for to meet southbound PR 270. From PR 270, PR 263 continued north for to its northern terminus at the south boundary of Riding Mountain National Park. The road continued into the park past several church camps and public campsites along the southwestern shore of Clear Lake. Manitoba Highway 21
Provincial Trunk Highway 21 (PTH 21) is a provincial highway in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It runs from the U.S. border (where it meets with ND 14) to PTH 45 and PR 577 in the village of Oakburn. PTH 21 is two lanes and runs north–south in the southwestern region of the province. It is the main highway for the towns of Deloraine (where it meets PTH 3), Hartney, Hamiota, and Shoal Lake. The speed limit is 90 km/h (55 mph). In 2012, PTH 21 was given the dubious distinction of being named the second-worst road in the province that year. History The northern terminus for PTH 21 was originally located at PTH 2 in Deleau. In 1947, it extended north to PTH 1 in Griswold. In 1949, it extended north to PTH 4 in Shoal Lake, replacing part of PTH 1 and all of PTH 28. In 1960, PTH 21 extended north to its present terminus. Provincial Road 259 (PR 259) is a secondary highway in the Canadian province of Manitoba. The route, located in southwestern Manitoba is long. Route description PR 259 begins near Virden, at a crossroads junction with the Trans-Canada Highway ( Provincial Trunk Highway 1, PTH 1), where it continues southward as PTH 83. At its junction with PR 254, PR 259 turns northward, and then curves east to PTH 21 at Kenton. It reaches its eastern terminus at PR 250 near Wheatland shortly after its PTH 25 junction. It is the Manitoba section of the Yellowhead Highway, and also the Trans-Canada Highway Yellowhead section. The main purpose of this highway is to connect Winnipeg with other Canadian cities such as Saskatoon and Edmonton. The highway runs from Bloom at an intersection with the Trans-Canada Highway and Provincial Road 305 west of Portage la Prairie to the Saskatchewan boundary west of Russell, where it continues as Saskatchewan Highway 16.
