Manglish (film)
''Manglish'' is a 2014 Indian Malayalam-language action comedy film directed by Salam Bappu, and the features Mammootty and Dutch actress Caroline Bech in the lead. The film is produced by Haneef Muhammed under the banner of Red Rose Creations. Manglish is the first Malayalam film to be released in Dolby Atmos. The film is released on 25 July 2014 during the occasion of Eid-ul Fitr. Mammootty plays Malik Bhai, a wholesale fish auctioneer in Mattancherry market. An English lady, Michelle (Caroline Bech), arrives seeking help but the two have confusion in communicating with others. Manglish is a portmanteau, of Malayalam and English, used in popular culture of Kerala for speaking Malayalam incorporated with the English language. Salam Bappu is an Indian film director working in Malayalam cinema. He made his debut through the movie '' Red Wine'' (2013) and later directed ''Manglish'' new movie ‘’Aayirothonnaam Raavu’’ shoot progressing at Dubai Biography Salam Bappu was born on 15 May 1975 at Palapetty, a village in Ponnani, Malappuram, Kerala to Bappu Haji and Ayishumma. Sathaar
Sathaar (25 May 1948 – 17 September 2019) was an Indian actor who primarily worked in Malayalam films. He made his acting debut with M. Krishnan Nair's ''Bharyaye Avashyamundu'' (1975). He became a hero in 1976 with ''Anaavaranam'', directed by A. Vincent. Even though he started as a leading man, later he became a successful villain as well as a character actor. He also had important roles in the early 80's Tamil films ''Mayil'' and ''Soundaryame Varuga Varuga''. He acted in almost 300 movies including Tamil and Telugu.
