Mangala Stadium
The Mangala Stadium is a public sports and athletics stadium located in the heart of Mangalore City, Karnataka, India, managed by Karnataka State Department of Youth Affairs and Sports. The term ''Mangala Stadium'' also refers to the various sports facilities adjacent to the stadium, which includes a swimming pool and a gymnasium. There is vacant ground adjoining the stadium which is used for various sporting as well as non-sports related events such as trade fairs, carnivals, commercial expositions and other cultural events. Dakshina Kannada district is a district of Karnataka state in India, with its headquarters in the coastal city of Mangalore. It is part of the larger Tulu Nadu region.
