Mandariinid
''Tangerines'' ( ka, მანდარინები ''Mandarinebi'', et, Mandariinid) is a 2013 Estonian-Georgian film directed, produced and written by Zaza Urushadze. Set during the 1992–1993 War in Abkhazia, the film is a morality tale addressing issues of conflict, reconciliation and pacifism. It was filmed in Guria, Georgia. It was nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 87th Academy Awards and was among the five nominated films at the 72nd Golden Globe Awards for Best Foreign Language Film. Zaza Urushadze
Zaza Urushadze ( ka, ზაზა ურუშაძე; 30 October 1965 — 7 December 2019) was a Georgian film director, screenwriter and producer. Biography Zaza Urushadze was a son of Ramaz Urushadze, a famous Soviet football goalkeeper. He was born on 30 October 1965, in Tbilisi, Georgia. He graduated in 1982-1988 at the directing department of the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgian State University. From 2002-2004 he was the director of the Georgian National Film Centre. Zaza's full-length debut film ''Here Comes the Dawn'' (1998) was very successful and participated in many international film festivals. Raivo Trass
Raivo Trass (12 March 1946 – 7 June 2022) was an Estonian actor, director and theatrical pedagogue. Career Trass graduated from the Tallinn State Conservatory's Performing Arts Department in 1968. From 1968 until 1977, he was an actor at Estonian Drama Theatre. From 1977 until 1985, he was the chief stage manager of the Rakvere Theatre. From 1981 until 1985, he was the head of Rakvere Theatre. From 1985 until 1992, he was a director at Estonian Drama Theatre. From 1997 until 2004, he was the chief stage manager of Endla Theatre. Trass' first big movie role was Hans von Risbieter in the Estonian classic ''Viimne reliikvia'' (''The Last Relic'') in 1969. The Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film is a Golden Globe Award presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Elmo Nüganen (born on date 15 February 1962 in Jõhvi) is an Estonian theatre director, film director, and actor. He has been the artistic Director of the Tallinn City Theatre since 1992. He was a graduate of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in 1988 and then a professor at the academy in 1998–2002 and 2008–2012.
